Scholarship CriteriaThree-year scholarships (with an option for a fourth year) to sophomore students of Iowa State University who are pursuing a degree in engineering. Priority is given to students who graduated from New Hampton High School. If there are no eligible students from New Hampton High School in any given year, then the scholarship shall be awarded to students from Chickasaw or Howard counties in Iowa. To apply for this scholarship, contact the financial aid office at Iowa State University.Give to the FundFinancial gifts to the Walter E. Schilling ISU Engineering Scholarship Fund with the Chickasaw County Community Foundation allows the Community Foundation to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
