Lynn Cullen Opportunity Scholarship Fund
Lynn Cullen was born and raised on a farm in rural Iowa. She attended a small high school with a graduating class of 23 students. She received her bachelor’s degree from The University of Iowa and a graduate degree at a California State University. Her parents were both first-generation college students and Lynn was raised to value education and contributing to your community. Although she has spent much of her adult life in California, she retains a strong connection with her rural Iowa roots and wants to support young Iowans in reaching their goals. She believes that education is one of the paths to wider opportunities in life.

Give to the Fund
Your gift to the Lynn Cullen Opportunity Scholarship Fund with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa allows the Community Foundation to award financial assistance to female students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
Gifts to the fund may be eligible for the Endow Iowa 25% state tax credit. This tax incentive is only available to Iowa residents.
