November 19, 2020
The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa is excited to welcome Tamika Fisher as our Scholarship and Grant Manager.
Tamika joins CFNEIA with nearly 20 years of experience working for various Cedar Valley nonprofit organizations and has served as a program director at Operation Threshold for the past seven years. In her role with Operation Threshold, Tamika was a member of the organization’s leadership team and provided oversight to the community services, family services, and early childhood departments. Tamika graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and obtained her bachelor’s degree in family services and a master’s degree in education.
“I am very humbled and excited to join the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa team,” said Tamika. “I have first-hand knowledge about the impact that scholarships and grants provide for students. Education has always been important to me, stressed at a very early age. It’s really wonderful to be able to work with students, parents, community supporters, and donors to help assist students to fulfill their educational dreams. I also look forward to working with organizations that provide support to children and families to decrease adverse social impacts.”
Tamika and her husband, Trevor, are lifelong residents of the Cedar Valley. They have two adult sons who live in the area.
