Kossuth County Community Foundation Awards $117,714 in Grants to Local Organizations

The Kossuth County Community Foundation held its annual grant awards ceremony on April 10, announcing the distribution of 38 grants totaling $117,714 to area nonprofits and government agencies.

“The work these deserving organizations do to create a stronger county is critical to making our communities places where everyone can thrive,” said Carol Heesch, Kossuth County Community Foundation committee chair. “The Kossuth County Community Foundation is proud to be a partner in their work, and we are thankful for the generosity of community-minded people who make this impact possible.”

Art and Culture

  • Bancroft Community Foundation, Backstage In Bancroft - Sound and Microphone System, $500
  • Kossuth County Agriculture & Motorsports Museum, TV-DVD Kisosk Upgrade/Replacement, 1,000

Community Betterment

  • Algona Rotary, Adult Outdoor Fitness Equipment, $750
  • Algona Swim Team Booster Club, Algona Swim Team Computer Equipment, $500
