Scholarship Criteria

One-year scholarships for students graduating from North Tama High School who will be attending an accredited university, junior college, or trade school within the state of Iowa, and who demonstrate the abilities required to successfully complete the requirements of the institution chosen. This scholarship is for students pursuing a degree in the field of sciences, including those pursing a degree in education to teach in the sciences. Preference goes to students with a GPA of 2.3 or higher, who have participated in high school athletics, and who were employed while attending high school.

Give to the Fund

Financial gifts to the Dr. Rudy R. Kubik Scholarship Fund with the Tama County Community Foundation allows the Community Foundation to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
