Scholarship Criteria

One-year scholarships for students demonstrating financial need with priority given to students from Whittemore, West Bend, and Algona, Iowa, high schools (public and parochial) that will attend or are currently attedning Loras College. To apply for this scholarship, contact the Financial Aid Office at Loras.

Give to the Fund

Financial gifts to the Jack and Ginger Geelan Scholarship Fund with the Kossuth County Community Foundation allows Loras College to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
