Scholarship Criteria

Four-year scholarships for students graduating from Waterloo East High School. Priority will be given to individuals in the top 10 percent of their class and/or with an ACT composite score of 25 or above Students must also demonstrate financial need. In order to continue receiving the scholarship the subsequent three years in college, the individual must carry at least 15 credit hours each semester the previous year and have at least a 2.5 grade point average each semester of the previous year.

Give to the Fund

Financial gifts to the CFNEIA Opportunity Scholarship Fund (B) with the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa allows the Community Foundation to award financial assistance to students pursuing higher education. As the cost of tuition continues to rise, it is more important now than ever to diminish the barrier of affordability and allow students to focus on what is most important - their education.
